There is something about a fit girl that radiates sex appeal. Take any girl who is not in great shape and put her in pajama pants, a tank top, and a pair of sneakers. For the sake of imagination and example, imagine this girl on the bus or train. You look at her and it almost seems as though she is a slob. She could be one of the hardest working women in the world, but that visual leaves a lasting impression that she is lazy and looks sloppy.
The Fit Girl Effect
Now let’s explore the flip side. Imagine a fit girl wearing the same attire (pajama pants, sneakers, tank top). First, you don’t take the girl for a slob – instead you imagine that she must be heading to the gym or something. Second, if she is bumming around – you think that she deserves it. This is the effect of being fit. Whether you are a fit girl or a fit guy, being attractive is so much easier. Sounds vain and so shallow, but I bet that it also sounds honest.
When creating this post, I knew that what I just said would be controversial. Some people who are out of shape are going to take it out of context and think that I am calling them ugly and a slob. That is totally not the case here. In fact, if you are out of shape and feel like a slob, I would argue that you are being too hard on yourself and with a little commitment you will be looking and feeling so much better than you do at the moment.
To us, this picture screams sexy motivation and should remind you of one critical thing to take into account when training. Rest is earned.
